Clean sweep for MMSC in National Racing bids

New Delhi, Dec 24:The Madras Motor Sport Club (MMSC) on Thursday confirmed that it has won bids to host the National Racing Championships (NRC) for both two and four wheelers for the next three years.

The MMSC also confirmed that the Volkswagen Vento Cup will join the National Racing Championship. In addition, the MMSC also won bids for the National four and two wheeler Drag Racing Championship and National two wheeler Dirt Track Championship.

"We are thrilled to win bids to host the major racing championships in the country. This is a first of its kind where one club is hosting 10 National Championships in the country. We would also like to welcome the Vento Cup back to the NRC," MMSC president Ajit Thomas said.

MMSC won the bids for National 2W Motorcycle Racing Championship, National MRF FF1600 Racing Championship, National Indian Touring Cars Racing Championship, National Indian Junior Touring Cars Racing Championship, National Super Stock Cars Racing Championship, National FLGB 1300 Championship which is remodelled to the National Rookies Championship from 2016, Volkswagen Vento Cup, National 2W Drag Racing Championship, National 4W Drag Racing Championship and National 2W Dirt Track Championship.
