CBI arrests PF commissioner in Chennai

Chennai, Jan 18 (IANS) The regional provident fund commissioner here and six others on alleged bribery charges were arrested on Monday by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on a corruption charge, an agency official said.

"The CBI has arrested Durga Prasad, regional provident fund commissioner, Chennai, two enforcement officers and four others in an alleged bribery of around Rs.14.5 lakh," a CBI official told IANS.
