When Kabir Singh released around two years ago, two things happened. The music album became an instant hit with the audience and on the other hand, the movie was called out for its sexist narrative, and the protagonist for being a weird misogynist. However, the movie ended up being a big success at the box office. Now there’s an old video clip from Bobby Deol’s Aashiq which is being dubbed as his audition for a hypothetical Kabir Singh. The scene in question here is being compared to the one where Kabir threatens Preeti to leave everything on the day she is getting married and creates a ruckus, demanding her to leave with him. Here, a similar scene exists long before Kabir Singh was released, thus giving rise to memes around DJ Bobby being the OG Kabir.
