BJP worker Jeetu Chaudhary shot in Delhi

New Delhi, April 20

A district-level BJP worker, Jeetu Chaudhary (42), was shot dead in Mayur Vihar on Wednesday evening at 8.15 pm, DCP East Priyanka Kashyap said. A few empty cartridges were found at the crime site. Eyewitnesses said four assailants on two motorbikes shot Chaudhary point-blank and fled.

“The beat staff at Ghazipur noticed a gathering.They found the victim lying in a pool of blood in front of his house with gunshot injuries. He was shifted to a hospital in a private vehicle where he was declared brought dead,” the police said.

Chaudhary was engaged in real estate business. It is suspected he may have been killed because of a business dispute. —
