BJP Expels Senior Member From The Party

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has expelled a member for making statements against the union government. Mr. Anil Joshi has been expelled on the directions of state unit chief Ashwani Sharma. Joshi is said to have made statements about the union government, its policies, and the party’s central leadership too. Joshi was been expelled for a period of six years, a day after he replied to a show-cause notice issued to him over his “anti-party” activities. He is also said to have been asked as to why he had mishandled the ongoing farmer’s protests against the Centre’s agriculture law.
