BJP drops sitting Mumbai North East MP

Mumbai, April 3 (IANS) Buckling under ally Shiv Sena’s pressure, the Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday denied ticket to its sitting Mumbai North East MP Kirit Somaiya and nominated Manoj Kotak as its candidate.

The announcement was made by the BJP’s Central Election Committee.
