London, Dec 4: Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger on Friday said he has no problems if he is blamed for key striker Alexis Sanchez's hamstring injury.

Sanchez had to be substituted in the second half of the game against Norwich City in an English Premier league match on Sunday which ended in a 1-1 stalemate.

"If you want to blame me for injuries I have no problem with it," Wenger was quoted as saying by goal.com.

“Sanchez had four weeks holiday, he was rested in some games. We had five days between Dinamo (Zagreb) and Norwich."

"I spoke with him before the game and he was adamant that he could play. I never force anyone to play.”

"No one said he could displace his hamstring or back. If you want to blame me with the injuries, I have no problem with it," he added.

Sanchez joins the likes of Santi Cazorla, Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck and Mikel Arteta who have been sidelined due to injuries.

However, the only good news for Wenger will be that defender Laurent Koscielny and forward Theo Walcott could be fit for Saturday's clash with Sunderland.
