Armed robbery at gas station

RIDGEFIELD PARK (NJ) — Authorities are looking for a man who shot a gas station attendant during an overnight robbery in Ridgefield Park.

The police say the robber who targeted the Delta gas station on Main Street is considered to be armed and dangerous.

The attendant was taken to the Hackensack University Medical Center with a gunshot wound in the abdomen. The victim was out of surgery and resting comfortably.

The suspect made off with hundreds of dollars from the register in a dark-colored sedan. He’s described as a black male, 25 years old with medium skin complexion.

Investigators are using the available surveillance video to help determine the identity of the suspect.
