Annual Health Fair 2022 Held by Shree Jalaram Mandir Hoffman Estates

HOFFMAAN ESTATES, IL- Shree Jalaram Mandir of Hoffman Estates, IL held annual Health Fair on Sunday May 22, 2022. The purpose of organizing Annual Health Fair was to support community at large and our devotees in need of medical help, especially uninsured and cannot afford to pay.

Physician’s consultation, Dental examination, Eye and Diet / Nutrition consultation services were provided. Additionally, Blood pressure, Blood sugar, Blood Tests, Urine Test, EKG in presence of Cardiologists and Bone Density testing were also provided.

About 5 physicians, 2 cardiologist, Dentist, Pharmacists and 75-80 Healthcare and non-Health care volunteers provided free checkup, testing and required guidance. Estimated 217 people took advantage of our Health Fair. Success of this event goes to all health care providers who dedicated their selfless time and efforts towards MANAV SEVA!!

Tea, Coffee, and light refreshments were provided by Mandir Kitchen Team to all participants, volunteers, and care takers throughout the event. Lunch was also offered to all the Physicians, care takers, volunteers, and board members who were present till end of the event.

Health Fair coordinators Bakul Thakkar and Jayanti Bhai Thakkar were grateful to community members and devotees who were able to take advantage of much needed preventive medical services. Special thanks to Shree Jalaram Mandir board members for successfully arranging Annual Health Fair, especially after two years of break due to Corvid restrictions.
