Alia and Ranbir’s pre-wedding festivities begin

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s pre-wedding festivities kick-started on Wednesday (April 13), which happened to be Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor’s engagement date. It was April 13, 1979, when Rishi and Neetu got engaged.

A puja was kept in remembrance of Rishi Kapoor before the celebrations could start. In the latter half of the day, the mehendi function took place. Neetu Kapoor along with her daughter Riddhima Kapoor, and grandchild Samara Sahni, was clicked in her car as they arrived at Ranbir Kapoor’s residence. Ranbir’s aunt Rima Jain was also clicked arriving at RK’s residence. Meanwhile, Ayan Mukerji, director of Brahmastra, confirmed their wedding via a special post on Instagram. He shared the teaser of a song titled Kesariya from Brahmastra and congratulated the couple on their wedding. Karan Johar also wished Alia and Ranbir as he wrote on Instagram Story, “Love is light and I know the amount of light you have brought into each other’s and our lives with your love.
