Agra: 5 killed as septic tank caves in; CM Adityanath announces ex-gratia

At least five people, including four of a single family were killed when a septic tank they were digging caved in. The incident was reported Tuesday evening from Pratap Pura village of Agra district in Uttar Pradesh. Commenting on the incident, District Magistrate of Agra, Prabhu N Singh, said, “The five deceased were involved in the digging of a septic tank when mud collapsed into the pit that had been dug. One person died on the spot while four others were rushed to SN Medical College where they were declared dead on arrival.”
