Achieve 100 pc vaccination: Adilabad Collector tells officials

Adilabad: Collector Sikta Patnaik told the officials concerned to achieve 100 percent of the target relating to the ongoing vaccination against Covid-19. She inspected vaccination centres at Kapri village and Jainath mandal centre on Tuesday. Sikta asked the authorities of the medical and health department to create awareness over the vaccination among the public aged above 18. She found out as to how people were coming forward to undergo vaccination by interacting with certain persons at a centre. She enquired whether they thronged the centre on their own or after being informed by officials.

The IAS officer learned about the achievement of the target set to Belluri Guda village by speaking to the Panchayat Raj secretary. She instructed the officials concerned to take steps for covering everyone aged above 18 to get vaccinated against the deadly virus. She told them to intensify publicity over the need to vaccinate and to prevent the spread of the virus.

District Medical and Health Officer (DMHO) Dr Narender Rathod, Additional DMHO Dr Sadhana, District Immunisation Officer Dr Vijayasarathi, Mandal Parishad Development Officer Gajanand, Jainath Tahsildar Mahendranath, Medical Officer Dr Deepika and many others were present.
