Mohammed Siraj’s Actions Make Messi & Ronaldo Fans Fight Amid India-South Africa Series
Mohammed Siraj has been in excellent form and has already made an impact in the current Test against South Africa in Centurion. On Day three of five, the 27-year-old removed Rassie van der Dussen, assisting India in putting the hosts on the back foot.
However, it was what the pacer did after taking the wicket that has his fans talking about his nature as an entertainer. As soon as Siraj scalped van der Dussen, he sped up, only to jump, turn around and ‘borrow’ Portuguese football legend Cristiano Ronaldo’s signature celebration.
The video of the moment has ever since gone viral with fans from both the athletes discussing the inspiration the 27-year old pacer took. There were some people busy hyping the Indian cricketer up by saying that the fact that Siraj copied Ronaldo’s celebration had to be the greatest day in the life of the latter.

Incredibly, Siraj’s actions also attracted the fans of Cristiano Ronaldo’s legacy rival, Lionel Messi, who were irked about the fact that the Indian bowler was a fan of the Portuguese footballer and not the legend from Argentina himself. The third day of the first Test between India and South Africa was eventful as the Indian middle and lower batting order collapsed in the first session itself. However, the touring bowlers quickly took hold of the situation and dominated the Protea batters, dismissing the entire squad for 197 runs.
