Nerlens Noel to play in summer league

Washington, May 23 (IANS) The Philadelphia 76ers centre Nerlens Noel will make his National Basketball Association (NBA) debut in the 2014 summer league, the team confirmed.

Noel injured his anterior cruciate ligament in one NCAA game as a Kentuky Wildcat in 2013, reports Xinhua. He missed the entire 2013-2104 season because of the injury.

Noel was selected by the New Orleans Pelicans in the 2013 Draft with the sixth pick, and then he was traded to the 76ers for the All-Star point guard Jrue Holiday.
