Hrithik Promotes ‘Mom’ Zarine Khan’s First Book

Mumbai, Aug 13 (IANS) Actor Hrithik Roshan has lent his support to his former wife Sussanne Khan’s mother Zarine Khan, who has launched her first book titled “Family Secrets: The Khan Family Cookbook” here.

The book launch hosted by Sanjay and Zarine Khan along with the publishers Roli Books was held at their daughter SussanneÂ’s concept store – The Charcoal Project – on Wednesday. Playing hosts were members of the Khan family – Zayed, Simone, Sussanne, and Farah Khan.

It was unveiled by actress-producer Dia Mirza and filmmaker Zoya Akhtar.

Though Hrithik didn’t attend the book launch, he did share an image of the book on Twitter and captioned it: “Food for the soul. Literally! Go get your copy. You will thank me. Well done mom. #livetoeat!”.

Published by Roli Books, “Family Secrets: The Khan Family Cookbook” gives a peek into the wholesome yet exotic home cooking of the Khan Family.

In the culinary book, Zarine has shared some of the most special recipes from her famous kitchen, handed down over the generations.

Speaking about the book, Zarine Khan said in a statement: “I am happy to release this book of simple home cooked recipes. I hope my readers enjoy making and eating the food in the company of their near and dear ones as much as we do!”
