55 mph wind gusts, 13-foot waves, flooding, expected to continue in Chicago area through Friday, forecasters say

A wind advisory and a lakeshore flood advisory were triggered by the windy, rainy and cold Thursday weather, which could see wind gusts of 55 mph and waves on Lake Michigan of 10 to 13 feet.
