5 Crime Thrillers Released In 2021 That You Can Watch This Week To Keep Your Mind Busy

BUY-SELL | HELP WANTED | MATRIMONIAL

2021 has not been a great year for cinema goers and movie makers as our new ‘normal’ continued to expand its wings from last year and we can still not buy overpriced popcorn and watch a movie in a theatre. However, thanks to OTT magic, entertainment is a click away.

In case the last week of June that’s approaching is feeling too stretchy for you and you kind of wish to run your mind on some fuel, here are some lovely thrillers which released this year and maybe you can stream one of them tonight:

1.The Little Things

This recently on released OTT Rami Malek thriller has been trending for quite a while. Sheriff Deke (played by Denzel Washington) joins hands with a detective called Baxter to catch a criminal causing havoc in LA. As the duo dives deep into the investigation, Baxter realises that he is also uncovering some skeletons in the closet from Sheriff Deke’s past. Catch it on Prime Video.

2. Ava

This action thriller is straight out of a good old chase and run recipe book where an assassin is marked by her own organisation after she breaks protocols and questions their code of conduct. The titular role is played by Jessica Faulkner. Catch it on Netflix.

3. Who Killed Sara

The first season of this Mexican crime drama left all fans asking more questions and seeking even more answers as the quest to find out who actually killed Sara continued. The second season which was released recently didn’t disappoint at all, as this family cum crime drama got murkier and complicated. This is an ideal recommendation for anyone looking for a show where they can continuously guess who is the killer. Catch it on Netflix.

4. The Family Man 2

If you haven’t watched the first season, then also you haven’t missed much because besides the main characters, the plot is entirely different. Watch Srikant Tiwari (Manoj Bajpayee) fight the bad guys on a daily basis as he juggles his family life with his secret life as an agent of national security. Very gripping and a must-watch! Catch it on Prime Video.

5. The Big Bull

This financial crime thriller starring Abhishek Bachchan was constantly compared to Scam 1992, for obvious reasons, but in case you haven’t watched that and want to watch a quick movie instead of a series on the Harshad Mehta scam, then simply go for it. Catch it on Hotstar Premium.
