2 Indian Americans Face Charges for Selling Stolen Beer Worth $20,000

MAHONING COUNTY, OH- Two Indian Americans are amongst the three people who are facing charges for allegedly buying and selling stolen beer worth approximately $20,000 in Ohio.

Ketankumar and Piyushkumar Patel were arraigned in Mahoning County Common Pleas Court on charges of receiving stolen beer. Both accused operate the Schenley Carry Out and Lucky Food Drive Thru on Mahoning Avenue on Youngstown’s West Side. They are accused of buying and selling beer, which was allegedly stolen by one Ronald Pezzuolo of Youngstown from R L Lipton Distributors where Pezzuolo worked. Pezzuolo faces a theft charge and the Patels face charges of receiving stolen property.
The accused will face preliminary court hearings next month.
