Watch: ‘Pack it in man!’ – Ben Stokes attempts to distract Mark Wood mid-interview with water bottle squirt

Even in the midst of an Ashes battle, Ben Stokes could still find time for a light-hearted moment on day two of third Ashes Test at the MCG.

Part of Fox‘s coverage in Australia includes interviews with players during drinks breaks. During the second session it was Mark Wood’s turn to speak to the Fox commentary team as England sought to restrict Australia’s first innings lead.

While taking questions, Stokes was seen trying to distract Wood by squirting the contents of his water bottle on his Durham teammate.

After several failed attempts to get Wood’s attention, Stokes eventually provoked a reaction from Wood mid-interview with the fast bowler turning around and saying, “Pack it in, man!”
