Warangal: Darshan only for fully vaccinated at Inavolu jatara

Warangal: Devotees visiting the historic and popular Mallikharjuna Swamy temple at Inavolu village, about 17 km away from Warangal city, during the Brahmostavams (jatara) from January 13 to 16, will not be allowed to perform their personal rituals at the temple in order to check the spread of Covid-19 cases, temple Executive Officer (EO) A Nageshwar Rao said on Wednesday.

Stricter Covid norms
In a statement here, the EO said only devotees who had got two doses of vaccine would be allowed to have darshan at the temple following the Covid-19 protocol. “The devotees must wear masks besides maintaining physical distance in the queue lines,” the EO added.

Earlier, it was estimated that around seven lakh devotees would visit the temple in four days during the jatara this year, the number would fall drastically due to restriction on rituals.
