CHICAGO, IL — On April 2, United Senior Pariwar, Chicago celebrated its 9th annual dinner and musical evening by musician-singer Hitesh master, with Atul soni, Rita Patel, Richard on tabla and Arvind patel on rhythem.
Some 500 seniors and guests enjoyed the evening at Hanuman Temple in Glenview.
After a welcome song by Jitendra Bulsara, secretary Ramesh Chokshi welcomed all seniors and guests.
The distinguished guests included Mafat Patel (owner of Patel Bros.), Chhota Patel (leader and businessman in Chicagoland), Dr. Dhiren Mistry (dentist and leader), Dr. Hemali Shah and Chirag Shah (owner of Soul Care Home Health Service), Hari Patel (president of Bhartiya Seniors), Narsinh Patel (president of Indian Seniors of Chicago), Bharat Thakkar, (president of Senior Pariwar of Elgin), Dhiru Suvagiya ( chairman of Senior Pariwar of Elgin). Narendra Patel (president of KPS), Shailesh Rajput (secretary of VHP), Amar Upadhyay (leader of OFBJP).
Dr. Bharat Barai, who received Samman Award from the Indian President earlier in the year for his selfless community services, was felicitated during the program featuring impressive songs, dances and speeches.
Everyone enjoyed a delicious dinner served by Uru Swati Restaurant of Devon Chicago.
