CHICAGO,IL— UCL&E successfully concluded their tournament in the Glendale Heights at Camera Park cricket Facilities. 10 elite teams from the Chicagoland area took take part in this highly publicized cricket tournament, all competing to win a $9000 prize. This the highest amount ever paid in any Chicagoland cricket tournament so far. The third and final game between the two top finalists came to halt due to heavy rains, which could cause potential injuries. The prize money was distributed equally between the two finalists.
The 10 teams who participated in the tournament included Anuman CC, All Stars, Chicago Stars, Daniel Sports, Junoon Cougars, Lucky XI, Liberty Medicals, United Bolling Brook XI, Bsc CC, and Chicago Toronto
Mr. Azeem Khan, president of UCL&E, thanks Sohail Bari, President of American Cricket Council for providing him with grounds for this tournament.
