Trump Supporter Harmeet Dhillon Alleges Attacks Due To Her Sikh Faith

WASHINGTON, DC-Indian American attorney Harmeet Dhillon, a supporter of former President Donald Trump, who is in a race for Republican Party Leadership, has alleged that she is facing bigoted attacks. She said that she experienced bigotry from some party leaders because of her Sikh faith. But Dhillon has vowed to remain undeterred in her run for the contest against current Republican National Committee (RNC) Chair Ronna McDaniel.

She tweeted, “To be very clear, no amount of threats to me or my team, or bigoted attacks on my faith traceable directly to associates of the chair, will deter me from advancing positive change at the RNC, which includes new standards of accountability, transparency, integrity, and decency.”

Chandigarh, India born Dhillion belongs to a Punjabi Sikh family. Dhillon has served as chair of the Republican National Lawyers Association and as a former chair of the San Francisco Republican Party.
