The Shah Rukh Khan – Atlee film is getting bigger day by day. Not only does the film mark the first collaboration between Atlee and SRK, the latest buzz is that the actor will also be seen sharing screen space with Thalapathy Vijay.
If reports are to be believed, Vijay will be seen in a cameo role in the film. Pinkvilla reported that Atlee requested Thalapathy Vijay for a guest appearance in the film, and the Tamil actor gave a nod without any second thought. This collaboration, however, does not come as a surprise as the two have already worked together for back-to-back three movies – Theri, Mersal, and Bigil.
A film industry insider recently stated that the Shah Rukh Khan – Atlee is loosely based on on the immensely popular Spanish show, Money Heist. Manobala Vijayabalan had tweeted, “#ShahRukhKhan’s next with #Atlee likely to have a subplot inspired from #MoneyHeist. #Nayanthara #PriyaMani.” The film is said to be tentatively titled Jawaan, and SRK’s first look from the film was also leaked recently when he was shooting for a hijacking scene at a Metro station in Pune.
Talking more about Shah Rukh Khan and Atlee’s film, a source had earlier revealed to Pinkvilla, “It’s larger than life yet driven by performance. Atlee masters the art of making double and triple role films, and this is him bringing the genre back to Bollywood with SRK. While Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra, and Sunil Grover are confirmed to play key roles in the film, many more names from the Northern and Southern industry are expected to join the cast. The yet-untitled saga is set to be a Pan-India film in true sense.”
“It’s a proper Pan-India film, and the makers are leaving no stone unturned to get the biggest names from all industries on board the film. It’s an out and out commercial film and everyone is excited to see SRK in this space after a long time,” the source added.
