Teaser Trailer Of Akshay Kumar, Manushi Chillar’s ‘Prithviraj’ Is Out & It’s Royal AF

The first teaser for Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar’s upcoming Prithviraj film has finally been released to the public by Yash Raj Films (YRF). The movie, which is based on the life of legendary warrior Prithviraj Chauhan will mark the debut of Miss World 2017 winner Manushi Chillar.

Akshay will star as Prithviraj in the movie, with the other star-studded cast member names including Sanjay Dutt and Sonu Sood.

This is not any different as YRF brings the powerhouse that is Akshay Kumar to its banner, while showcasing the life of Prithviraj Chauhan, one of the most prominent names in Indian history.

The teaser for the movie begins with shots of an epic fight against the invader Muhammad of Ghor.

On comes Akshay Kumar standing armor-clad in the avatar of Prithviraj along with other soldiers on the battlefield. The teaser also shows Sanjay Dutt in the battlefield and Manushi Chillar dressed as a bride in the role of Sanyogita.

Akshay, who recently saw the release of his Rohit Shetty film Sooryavanshi, had spoken about the teaser for Prithviraj in a press release.

“The teaser of Prithviraj captures the soul of the film, the essence of the life of the legendary warrior Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan who knew no fear. This is our tribute to his heroism and his life. The more I read about him, the more I was awed by how he lived and breathed every single second of his glorious life for his country and his values,” he’d said.

“He is a legend, he is one of the bravest warriors and he is one of the most upright kings that our country has ever seen. We hope that Indians worldwide love our salute to this mighty braveheart. We have tried to present his life story in the most authentic way possible and the film is a homage to his unmatched bravery and courage,” added Akshay.

Directed by Dr. Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the movie will be released worldwide on January 21, 2022.
