Subhash Ghai’s ‘Kaanchi’ to release April 25

Mumbai, Feb 27: Filmmaker Subhash Ghai says his "Kaanchi", his “most laborious film", will hit the screens April 25.

“Finally, the shoot of my most laborious film ‘Kaanchi’ is over and all set to release April 25 and what’s best is I’m excited about the film,” Ghai tweeted Thursday.

“First sound of music of ‘Kaanchi’ is gonna be in public tonight (Thursday) at Mirchi music awards with a music piece resounding ‘Kaanchi re kaanchi re’,” he further posted on Twitter.

Starring Kartik Tiwari and Mishti in the lead roles, the musical drama is a tale of a girl who dares to fight against corruption. (Story IANS)
