Shubhankar Sharma, India’s lone golfer at the Abu Dhabi Championship, carded a 2-under 70 to lie tied-39th after the opening day. Meanwhile, Shiv Kapur and Viraj Madappa shot even-par 71s in the first round of the Singapore Open.
