Seniors enjoy Mandi Theater’s Hindi play

CAROL STREAM , IL)– More than 250 members of the Bhartiya Senior

Citizens (BSC) of Chicago enjoyed Hindi Play ‘ Udan Khatola’ performed
by Mandi Theater Group at Rana-Regan community center in Carol Stream
IL.
The program began with ‘Ganesh vandana’ sung by BSC secretary Rakshika
Anjaria. Vice president Purshotam Pandya, and executive committee
members Damini Patel and Pratima Shah welcomed Mandi Theater Group
artistes Alka Sharma, Rachita Trehan and Mohan Rawat.
The 45-minute comedy play “Udan Khatola” centres on a middle-class
couple dreaming of buying a ‘Udan Khatola’ to fulfill their life.
Hanmi Bank of Carol Stream branch’s vice president Eve Pool and the
bank’s associate Sangita Patel gave information regarding the
newly-opened bank and distributed gifts to all senior citizen members.
While AARP’s Akhilesh Gupta spoke about a seniors’ driving safety
program, Air Tour informed memebrs about the South Africa and Bahamas
cruise tour organized by BSC of Chicago in August.
BSC president Hari Patel thanked all for success of the program before
the seniors had a Kathiwadi dinner.
