Sardar Jayanti at Indian mission

CHICAGO, IL — Consulate General Of India, Chicago, celebrated the birth anniversary of India’s Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Birth, at downtown Chicago.

More than 50 community leadera and organizers participated in the event.

After a video presentation on the life of the Sardar, the Consul General of India, Chicago, Neeta Bhusan, spoke about the Sardar’s life and contribution for independence of India. All community leaders like Damleji, Nirav Patel, Rohit Joshi spoke about the Sardar’s fight for freedom.

D.B. Bhati, Consul (HOC, OCI, press information and culture) thanked everyone for attending the Sardar Jayanti function.
