Rs 176-cr tax fraud: 2 more arrested

The Director General of GST Intelligence (DGGI) today said its Gurugram personnel have arrested a CA and a dealer for their alleged involvement in the Rs 176-crore input tax credit (ITC) racket. It had earlier busted a case wherein fake ITC of Rs 176 crore was fraudulently passed on by Sanjay Goel and Deepak Sharma, who were de facto controllers of eight non-existent firms. — TNS
