SAN BERNARDINO COUNTY, CA- Sean Kingston was arrested in California on Thursday following a raid at his Florida mansion earlier in the day. “This evening, police in Fort Irwin, CA, arrested Kisean Anderson, aka Sean Kingston, without incident on a Broward Sheriff’s Office arrest warrant for numerous fraud and theft charges,” Public Information Officer Carey Codd told Fox News Digital. Kingston will be booked into jail in San Bernardino, CA.

Earlier, deputies from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office and Davie Police SWAT members executed search warrants at Kingston’s Southwest Ranches mansion on May 23. As a result of the investigation, Kingston’s mother, Janice Turner, was also arrested on numerous fraud and theft charges.

The investigation, which began in Dania Beach, remains active and ongoing. Kingston posted on Instagram, asserting that he and his mother are fine and that their lawyers are handling the situation.

Kingston, whose full name is Kisean Paul Anderson, rose to fame in 2007 with his debut single, “Beautiful Girls,” and has collaborated with artists like Justin Bieber, Kanye West, and Nicki Minaj. In 2011, he survived a near-fatal jet skiing accident in Miami, which left him with severe injuries and required a three-week hospital stay.
