Tu Jhoothi Main Makkar featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor has been the talk of the town ever since the trailer of the film was released. Fans of both celebrities are loving the trailer and admire the new-age romance chemistry between the two stars. The new song from their movie, ‘Tere Pyaar Mein’ has been talked about all over the internet for the pairing of the two Kapoors and chemistry. However, Pritam’s new song is once again accused of being copied from Hollywood songs by netizens. Read on to find out.

The romance drama marks the first onscreen collaboration between Ranbir and Shraddha with standup comedian Anubhav Singh Bassi making his debut in films. Its new song, ‘Tere Pyaar Mein’ is composed by Pritam, and sung by the king of romantic melodies Arijit Singh. While the world is showering over Ranbir & Shraddha’s liveness that strikes the right chord with the youth, many are calling out for its music to be copied from a few iconic English songs.

A video shared by an Instagram account named, surroorgasm shows the song where Ranbir Kapoor is exchanging sweet kisses with Shraddha. The caption of the reels subtly takes a hint at the lawsuit and copying of the music as it read, “Tu sample ki huyi beat main lawsuit”. As the video moves further, it plays a clip from Hera Pheri, where Johnny Lever says, “Sahab aapka awaaz kahi dekha hua lag raha”.

The next song in the reel shows Dua Lipa’ Love Again, Earl’s All that glitters, White Town’s Your Woman, and most interestingly, The Imperial March from Star Wars where Darth Vader is seen walking and taking on opponents. So far the video has received 10k likes and has over 67k views. Netizens are calling out Pritam for the song and saying, “without knowing whatever if there is to know, I know ONLY this that it’s lord pritam 🙏”.

Another said, “Copy karo magar pyar se”. A Star Wars fan added, “Imperial March>>>>>> everything else”. “The imperial march is the real one”, added another.

“gaana badhiya hai? sunke maza aaya? aur kya chahiye?”, added another who liked the song.

Commenting on the music producer, a user wrote, “Pritam Da” nhi re , “Copy Da”!
