Rahul Roy-Chowdhury to be the New CEO of Grammarly

SAN FRANCISCO, CA- Another Indian American joins the CEO club. Rahul Roy-Chowdhury will take over as CEO of Grammarly. Grammarly is a cloud-based typing assistant that helps users with their writing, including reviewing spelling, grammar, punctuation and plagiarism reviews.

Currently Roy-Chowdhury is the global head of product at Grammarly. Headquartered in San Francisco, Grammarly has been instrumental in changing the world of typing as we knew it.

Current CEO Brad Hoover in a Grammarly blog post wrote: “After twelve years at the helm of Grammarly, I am passing the baton to our current Global Head of Product, Rahul Roy-Chowdhury.” Before joining Grammarly, Roy-Chowdhury was vice president for product management at Google where he worked for 14 years.
