Postal worker steals gift cards from mail

GREENWICH, CT — A Greenwich postal employee has been arrested and charged with stealing gift cards from the mail.

Ismail Laksabi was taken into custody after a three-month investigation by a financial crime task force.

The police said Laksabi was stealing the cards that were intended for residents on his route.
