Bhubaneswar, July 4 (IANS) Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Prakash Javadekar Friday said his ministry is reviewing various Odisha projects and expects to complete the review by July-end.

"There are many issues related to mining and other projects in Odisha. The Shah Commission has also made some recommendations. We are reviewing these, which will be complete by the end of July," the minister told reporters here.

He said after that the environment ministry will prepare an action plan for the state. Similar action plans will be prepared for other states as well, he added.

Javadekar said files of a large number of projects of the Congress regime have been pending in the environment ministry and chief ministers of every state are coming to his ministry to resolve the issues.

Taking a dig at the Odisha government, he said so far nobody from the state government has come to his ministry.

"But we will not stop. We have love for Odisha and its people. We are committed for its development," said the minister, adding the central government wants betterment of the state.

Replying to a question on the Posco project in the state and the Polavaram project in neighbouring Seemandhra, he said no project will be implemented without complete rehabilitation.

"It is not for one state, it is applicable for all states," he said.
