Odisha assembly’s winter session from Nov 20

Bhubaneswar, Nov 6 (IANS) The winter session of the Odisha legislative assembly will begin Nov 20, an official said on Wednesday. The session will continue till Dec 20.

 

The government will present the supplementary budget on the first day and the house will have a three-day discussion on the budgetary allocation for various departments, assembly secretary Amiya Sarangi said.

The assembly session is set to be stormy as the BJP and the Congress are gearing up to confront the ruling Biju Janata Dal over various scandals.
