North America Tour of Swaminarayan Leader

NEW YORK, NY- Maninagar Shree Swaminarayan Gadi Sansthan – North America welcomed 6th Heir to Lord Shree Swaminarayan Acharya Shree Jitendriyapriyadasji Swamiji Maharaj (Acharya Swamiji Maharaj) on his inaugural visit to the United States on June 21 since becoming a world leader. He is accompanied by a team of sixteen eminent Sants (monks), as they embark on a seven-week religious tour of the United States and Canada.

Shree Muktajeevan Swamibapa Pipe Band USA, North America’s First and Only Indian American Bagpipe band, welcomed Acharya Swamiji Maharaj at Newark Liberty International Airport – Terminal B. In partnership with The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, a grand Welcome was held at the Newark Airport Welcome Center.

A formal Welcome Ceremony was held on Wednesday, June 22, at Shree Swaminarayan Temple – Secaucus, New Jersey.

Acharya Swamiji Maharaj will now depart New Jersey to commence His tour. He will open a newly constructed, traditional Shikhar Bandh Hindu Temple in Ocala, Florida followed by a Groundbreaking Ceremony for a new Temple in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He will be visiting New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Delaware, Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, California, Arizona, Kentucky, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, Connecticut, and Canada.
