New York subway shooting suspect held

New York, April 13

A 62-year old man was arrested on Wednesday in connection with the attack that left 23 people injured, including 10 who were hit when he fired at least 33 shots with a 9-mm handgun. Frank James was arrested at East Village in New York City.

The NY police said this morning that James fired numerous gunshots inside an “N” line subway car, causing serious injuries to 10 persons on Tuesday at 8.30 am. An additional 13 persons were injured as they rushed to get out of the train station. —
