Kohima, Feb 10 (IANS) Exuding confidence that political parties will support an "honourable solution" to the decades-old separatist movement in Nagaland, Chief Minister T.R. Zeliang on Tuesday said a new dawn was breaking for the Nagas.

"I am confident that most of the political parties would extend support for a solution that is honourable to Nagas because peace talks were initiated during the UPA rule and the present NDA leadership is determined to solve the issue at the earliest," he said.

Zeliang was addressing the consultative meet of Naga People’s Front Peren Division at Jalukie.

The chief minister also revealed how the Naga Mothers Association along with many of its associates were closely working with the state and central governments to bring a permanent peaceful solution to the Naga problem.
