Multi Ethnic Advisory Task Force’s 8th Annual Awards Gala

CHICAGO, IL— U.S. Congressman Danny K. Davis’s 7th Congressional District-Illinois’s Multi Ethnic Advisory Task Force hosted their eighth annual awards gala on Sunday, October 28th at the Meadows Club. The annual awards gala attracts elected officials, community leaders, educators, CEOs, other professionals from all walks of life, hailing from 24 different ethnic communities. 425 prominent citizens were in attendance at the Congressional Gala.

One of the highlights of this year’s Gala included the recognition of the Consulate Generals from six different countries. A congressional salute was given to the Consulate Generals of India, Japan, Turkey, China, Indonesia and Ukraine.

The attendance of our vibrant Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi from the 8th Congressional District of Illinois made event more pleasant and successful.

Prominent Indian politician and first female BJP Tamilnadu President, Dr. Tamilisai Soundarrajan was in attendance to receive the “International Rising Star” Award.
