‘Money Heist’ Season 5 Is Finally Out And People Cannot Cope With All The Madness

It’s finally happened. After leaving the world with a heck of a cliffhanger in season 4 last year, the Professor and his band of bandits are back. And by the looks of it, Season 5 is going to be an adventure of a lifetime for our favourite robbers.

La Casa De Papel, fondly known as Money Heist, had already transformed into a cultural phenomenon before season 4 launched it into a global behemoth. Fans had been waiting for a year with bated breath to know what happens when the merciless Agent Sierra finally apprehends our beloved mastermind.

Does the professor’s ice cold demeanour wilt under pressure or has he found yet another loose string to save him in this adrenaline inducing game of cat and mouse?

Closer to the site of the robbery itself, we’ve the recently rescued Lisbon calling the shots at the Bank Of Spain. Armed with tenacity and deadly intellect, former agent Raquel Murillo gives us much needed respite from the trigger friendliness of the rest of her team.

I’ll just say this was FINALLY the season of Itziar Ituño,of Lisboa. Seeing her in charge, saving their asses. She has proved she’s more than a girlfriend. She’s a leader, an intelligent woman (said Sergio himself!), a ex poli, a mother, a warrior, A SURVIVOR.

All La Casa De Papel stans would agree that Arturo’s personality attracts fists the way a punching bag does.

We never thought a selfie stick could be used like that. Ingenious but also a tad unsettling.

The girls really have taken over the heist in this season.

That flamethrower sure looks familiar.

With season 5, The Professor has proven that he’s a hardcore romantic. He just shows it differently. Lisbon and Sergio’s love story gives us goals!

Some of us really sat through and gobbled up the entire experience in a single sitting and now we’re going to be miserable till part 2 of the finale releases.

As intriguing as ever, his flashbacks showed us a different side to this twisted character.

Just when we’d thought Tokyo’s finally got her anger in control.

Every time you think he’s down, he finds a way to get back again. It would have been a lot better if he wasn’t batting for the other team. The second most punchable personality in the series. Undoubtedly.

Speaking of batting, local celebrity Virat Kohli’s doppelganger set the internet alight with memes!

Seriously, the Professor really needs to teach his team a bit more trigger discipline. At this rate they’ve no need for gun holsters.

To be honest, watching the show in Spanish is a totally different experience and comes highly recommended. The subtitles take some getting used to, but it’s worth it to see Tokyo and Bogota exacting their revenge on a certain somebody in Spanish.
