Missing woman found

NEW YORK, NY — An Indian American woman in New York City who had gone missing earlier this month was found safe days later.

Amarjit Kaur (34), who had gone missing on December 5 following a trip to the bank, was found safe, wandering the streets on December 8.

Kaur’s husband, Lakhwinder Multani, said that his wife left their home on 128th Street to a nearby Chase Bank around 10:30 am on December 5. After depositing a check at the bank, she never made it back to the car. Her phone was inside the car parked at 114th Street and Liberty Avenue, according to reports.

Kaur was found in the morning hours of December 8 wandering the streets and was taken to a hospital.
