Hyderabad: Hyderabad-based MEIL group company EveyTrans has launched an inter-city bus service in Maharashtra under the brand name ‘PuriBus’ connecting Pune and Mumbai. Operations will begin on 15th October, enabling long-distance and zero-emission transport.
Sandeep Raizada, GM, EveyTrans, said, “PuriBus can cover up to 350 kms on a single charge, with zero-emission, making it an option for inter-city travel operators, leading to savings in the long run.”
The 12-meter long PuriBus has a seating capacity of 45+Driver+Co-driver. The AC E-bus designed for long-distance travel, has push back seats, infotainment system along with Wi-Fi. Each seat has an in-built USB charger. The five cubic meter luggage space ensures ample space.
The buses are powered by Li-ion Phosphate batteries. The bus has various safety features, including EU standard FDSS System with TUV certification, ADAS System (Advanced Driver Assistance System) and ITS System as per the Indian regulatory requirement.
In a crisis, there is a panic alarm system and emergency lighting system. EveyTrans is operating E-buses successfully in multiple cities such as Hyderabad, Surat, Silvassa, Goa and Dehradun.
