Marvel’s Loki Finally Confirmed As Gender Fluid In New Promo, Fans Are All Praises For The Move

The new promo for Marvel’s Loki that was dropped on Twitter this week will have the original fans of Marvel, the ones who’ve been following them since the comics, rejoice with glee. Loki is finally being revealed as a gender-fluid person in the cinematic universe.

People who’ve read the Thor comics and some of Marvel’s previous comics will know that Loki actually gave birth to one of Odin’s horses. In a comic book from 2014, Odin referred to his Loki as “my son and my daughter, and my child who is both.”

The Marvel cinematic universe has often been accused of having very few LGBTQI+ characters, in spite of the fact that the original comic books are chock-full of them.

People who consider themselves to be fans of all things Marvel, and are constantly looking for Easter eggs and hidden meanings in promos and trailers, spotted that in the most recent promos for the show, we get a brief glimpse into some of Loki’s personal details

These details include things like his complete name, place of birth, his age, his hair and eye colour, his weight, which is about 525 pounds and of course, his gender.

Loki was first revealed to be Gender fluid, back in 2014. That is why hardcore fans will always tell you that if you’re seriously into superheroes, comics are the things to invest your time in.

Meanwhile, fans couldn’t help but show their excitement over the show, which releases globally on the 9th of June.
