New Delhi, Aug 24 : Adam Saini, who has served with the Scottish police, plays the protagonist in "Dassehra" director Manish Vatssalya’s next venture "Scotland", a crime thriller.

Written by Piyush Priyank, the film has been produced by Manish Vatssalya and Zaina Ibourek under the banner of Vatssalya films & Mars UK films Ltd.

"As a director, Manish (Vatssalya) has done a commendable job to keep the balance of emotions and the message during the picturisation of the movie, which is amazing. This project has put the utmost responsibilities of producer and director on Manish’s shoulders which he has delivered with perseverance. Manish completed the project in record time in a span of three months," Ibourek said.

Vatssalya said: "I would like to thank my producer Zaina Ibourek for her trust and love. I love directing thrillers. This is a story about the courage, the bonding and the extended love of a father."

Vatssalya’s last crime thriller "Dassehra" starring Neil Nitin Mukesh was applauded by film critics and audiences alike.
