Man stalks teen-aged girl in Morris

MORRIS TOWNSHIP,NJ– The police are investigating a possible attempted luring incident reported on March 12 morning at a bus stop on Woodland Avenue, Bennington Road.

A 14-year-old Morristown High School student was waiting at the bus stop at 6.55 am when she noticed a gray vehicle–which she described as a ‘bigger Jeep’–park across the street from her.

A man exited the passenger side of the vehicle and walked towards the girl, but she started to run toward her home a short distance away because she was alone and scared.

The girl told the police she heard the man yell at her in Spanish or in English with a Spanish accent.
When the student reached her front door, she turned around and the man was now standing at the bottom of her driveway but fled the area when she entered her home.

The man was described as having short dark hair and wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt.
