Bollywood star Ajay Devgn has worked tirelessly and most of the time, effortlessly in the field where he is just so good.

Yeah! Ajay has really been working relentlessly in the industry ever since making his debut in Phool Aur Kaante all the way back in 1991.

This means that he has been working in movies every year for the last 31 years.

This is one of the reasons why Ajay is clearly at that stage in life and career where he can choose to do the kind of films that he wants to do, the kind of people he wants to work with.

And that’s exactly what he’s been doing.

Ajay is also at the center of many Bollywood universes, thanks to pal Rohit Shetty and his own acting abilities.

He’s the main character of the Golmaal series as well as the Singham series which has now become a big cop universe that also has superstars Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar.

Having said all of that, you can understand that with the kind of experience Ajay has, it’s fair to say that it doesn’t come cheap at all, with the actor earning a lot of money for his roles.

You know that if you have Ajay on board a film, it’s almost guaranteed success at the box office. This may point out his salary in one of his upcoming films.

We are talking about SS Rajamouli’s RRR which also stars actors Ram Charan, NTR Jr., and Alia Bhatt.

The movie, with the tremendous star cast, is obviously a much-awaited film being made on a very grand scale.

So, it is natural that Ajay gets a big slice of the pie as well. That’s right. Ajay is reported to get a lot of money for his cameo role in the film.

In fact, if the reports are true, the earnings actually are a hell of a lot bigger than many superstars’ normal movie incomes.

As per a report in Bollywood Hungama, Ajay’s getting a staggering Rs. 35 Crore rupees for his cameo role, for which he worked for around 7 days.

“Devgn’s presence in RRR is a trickier situation. Although he features in a guest appearance he is almost a leading man in terms of the character’s development and impact. For 7 days’ work, Devgn has been paid a whopping Rs 35 crores.”

Alia’s salary, on the other hand, is what she charges normally.

“At least Alia Bhatt has been paid what she normally charges other producers in Mumbai. Although she has less than twenty minutes of playing-time she is the official leading lady of RRR and has been paid close to Rs. 9 crores for her brief role,” the report said citing a source.

The report further shed light on the impact that Ajay and Alia have in North India.

“Devgn and Alia are the audience-baiters in North India. Over there only Rajamouli sells as the director of Baahubali. But is that enough?” said the source.

We knew Ajay was a wonderful actor, yes. But his star pull, of course, cannot be understated.
