Leadership award for Niles West students

NILES, IL– Four Niles West High School DECA students have been recognized with the DECA Emerging Leader Award.

Lamia Chatriwala, Harshil Damji, Ahsan Lodhika and Muhammad Musani are recipients of this prestigious award, along with 13 other Illinois students from the over 3,000 DECA students across the state.
The Emerging Leader Honor Award recognizes members who have been involved at the local and national levels.
These students are graduating seniors who have maintained a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.2 or higher, have completed one or more courses in marketing, business management and administration, finance, entrepreneurship or hospitality and tourism, and have participated in various activities to develop them as community-oriented, professionally responsible and experienced leaders.

These students will be honored at the upcoming Illinois Career Development Conference held March 10 through 12 in Rosemont, Illinois.
