Liverpool, Nov 30: Steven Gerrard put on his football boots at Melwood again as he joined Liverpool's training session here on Monday under coach Jurgen Klopp.

Gerard has accepted Liverpool's invitation and is here to be fit during LA Galaxy's off-season.

"I'm very excited to go in," he was quoted as saying by goal.com.

"Obviously I've been there for a very long time and I've come out for a short period, but I'm looking forward going into the new set-up to having a look at what Klopp's all about tactically, what he demands of his players and how much he's changed since the Brendan (Rodgers) era," he said before training.

"You just watch him in those interviews and you just love watching him. He's got that infectious personality and I'm excited to go and spend some time with him."

Klopp watched the Liverpool legend practice and then gave him a hug after it.

"I got one off him, they're quite nice," admitted Gerrard. "He makes you feel good. He's got that enthusiasm, very infectious and he makes players feel special."

"I'm an ex-player and I came out of his office feeling really good and really confident. That's what he brings, he's lifted the whole club, the fans, the supporters, the staff and he's got Liverpool playing really well."
