Kadva Patidars mark festival of lights

CHICAGO, IL – The Kadva Patidar Samaj of Chicago celebrated Diwali on November 12 with more than 500 people gathering at the Ashyana Banquet in Downs Grove IL.

The three-hour program began with a social hour comprising a traditional Gujarati cuisine. All members of the KPS family came together and participated in the cultural program. The traditional lamp was lit by Grand sponsor Rajendra Patel, Kalpna Patel, chief guest Chhotu Patel, Harsha Patel, KPS president Rajesh Desai and Dipika Desai.

Harmil Patel did a good job as the Master of Ceremony. Rajendra Patel and Chhotu Patel gave a good Diwali and New Year wishes to all participants. The current KPS president Rajesh Desai thanked all board members, directors, executives, trustees and the advisory team for supporting him.
